How long does the fuel drain process take?
Once we arrive, draining and flushing usually takes 20-40 minutes depending on the vehicle type and how much fuel is in the tank.
Will a roadside fuel drain void my car warranty?
No. We carry out a professional fuel drain and flush that is compliant with manufacturer requirements. Dealerships often suggest expensive full-system replacements, but a correctly performed roadside flush is safe and recognised by many insurers.
Can you help me if I am on a busy motorway?
Yes, safety permitting. We recommend moving to a safe location if you can, and we coordinate with National Highways where necessary to make sure the recovery is carried out safely.
Can I drain the fuel tank myself?
We strongly advise against it. Most modern tanks have no drain plug and an anti-siphon valve in the filler neck, the fuel is a fire hazard, and the contaminated fuel has to be disposed of as hazardous waste. A mobile fuel drain removes it safely with a pump, flushes the lines and filter, and is usually done within 30-45 minutes.
